"Dance Nation has been apart of my life since 2011. The studio was a place that always felt like home to me, pushed me and formed me into the dancer I am today. It was a place that opened many doors and avenues for Dance. Under the guidance of Monique and the other teachers at the studio, I realised my dream and new I wanted to continue training at Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts where I received a Bachelor for Performing Arts and worked along side some of Australia’s greatest contemporary artists.

I have had the pleasure of working with some incredible contemporary creators, some of my favourites include Cass Mortimer Eipper, who I worked with in my second year of my Bachelor. Emma Fischwick in her work “slow burn, together” which was featured in the 2021 Perth festival, and also Scott Elstermann who choreographed an incredible remake of “The Rite of Spring” in a collaborative performance with the Western Australia Youth Orchestra."

"I had such an amazing time at Dance Nation. The teachers and students were all such beautiful and kind people. I learnt so much about discipline, work ethic, working as a team and having your own sense of style. I cannot thank the Dance Nation team enough for everything they’ve done for me and will be forever grateful to have been taught by such wonderful teachers.

Since graduating from Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year I’ve worked with Chunky Move on Universal Estate, Token Armies, Yung Lung and Rewards for The Tribe. I’ve also worked with Tasdance on Trolls!"

"My time at Dance Nation really helped me develop my technique, style and performance in all genres of dance. They have a great family atmosphere with a supportive faculty and some truly amazing and talented choreographers and teachers. I learnt how to work hard, pay attention to detail, be resilient and push myself out of my comfort zone. Dance Nation gave me the foundation to be the artist I am today.
